FED:Labor still favourite to win

CANBERRA, Aug 21 AAP - Labor remains the bookmakers' favourite to win the election
as voting draws to a close.

Centrebet took a bet of $60,000 at $1.60 on Prime Minister Julia Gillard's team before
shortening Labor's odds to $1.39 on Saturday afternoon.

The coalition meanwhile with Centrebet has drifted out to $2.90, from $2.38, and punters
can help themselves to $2.55 for a hung parliament.

Sportingbet Australia has experienced a late rally for the coalition, $2.70 in from
$3.80, but it is still keeping Labor safe at $1.45.

Sportingbet Australia boss Michael Sullivan said there had been strong bets for both
sides but the momentum was with the coalition.
