Vic: Chemistry exam error to slightly increase scores
MELBOURNE, Dec 28 AAP - More than 900 students will receive a small increase in their
November chemistry exam scores after the Victorian Board of Studies detected a minor marking
error.
Board of Studies examination manager Peter Adams said a single multiple choice question
on the exam was marked incorrectly.
The marking error would slightly increase some students' chemistry scores, and their
Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER) score by between 0.05 and 0.1 points
he said.
No students would lose marks or have ENTER scores downgraded, Mr Adams said.
