WA: Boy pinned between father's vehicle and truck
PERTH, Feb 9 AAP - A nine-year-old Perth boy is in a serious condition after he wascrushed while trying to stop his father's four-wheel drive from rolling into a truck.
The boy was alone in his father's vehicle in a trucking yard in the industrial areaof Wangara, north of Perth, early yesterday when the idling vehicle started to move forward.
A police spokesman said investigations into the incident were continuing but it appearedthe boy got out of his father's vehicle and stepped in front of it to try to stop it fromrolling.
